Over the Welsh fields and hedgerows, the proposed march of pylons forgets that a landscape is a web of living ties. Let the stewards of the soil be heeded, and let each line be sited with humility—rerouted, buried, or relinquished where it would sever those ties, for “in nature nothing exists alone.”

Electric power must serve humanity in harmony with the fields it crosses. Build with justice—reroute, compensate, or bury the lines—or better, hasten the day when energy travels without wires and leaves no scar upon the horizon. “When resonance is mastered, the earth itself will bear the light.”

Power must flow where industry demands, but it should be laid with consent and fair compensation. Settle swiftly—secure easements, adjust routes, or pay for undergrounding where warranted—lest delay tax both the capital account and public patience.
